Road Trip!!!

So we went on our first official mini vacation. I had to teach a class in Baton Rouge, LA and we decided to spend the rest of the week in New Orleans!! Owen did great on the ride down - just a little fussy, but that was to be expected. Tom & Owen visited the LSU campus while I was in class. They got to see Mike the Tiger!!
We arrived in New Orleans on Wednesday - we walked around the French Quarter, ate beignets at Cafe de Monde, road the street car to the Garden District and walked along the river. All and all we had a great time. I have to say, you don't see a lot of babies in New Orleans - so Owen was a big hit!!!

Nine Months!!!!

So Owen had his 9 month check up on 9/9/09 at 9:00am - kind of eerie don't you think?? He weighs 20.4lbs and is 27 inches long. Owen has grown so much this past month (first two teeth, crawling & talking nonstop) and we can't wait to see what's in store for month nine!!

Owen's Favorite Toy!!

Owen loves it when Tom plays the guitar. But I think he really enjoys playing with the guitar himself. I have to say, it is hands down, Owen's favorite thing!!
