Halloween 2010 Continued

Once we got home, Owen had a couple of pieces of candy and played with Tom's drill. We took a bath and put Owen in his orange and black PJs. We still had a few Trick or Treaters, so Owen was able to help give out candy!!

Overall, I think Owen had a great time and we can't wait for next year!!

TRICK or TREAT 2010

We had an awesome Halloween this year!!! Owen went as a lion - I have to say he was the cutest lion I've ever seen!!!

We started off carving the pumpkins, we did two this year. I enlisted the help of Owen to help clean out the pumpkins - needless to say he wasn't interested. He just kept saying eeeeww!!! I did get him to scrap some out with a spoon but that was as close as he got!! Tom used the drill for one of the pumpkins and Owen helped hold the pumpkin in place for him.

We actually got done carving the pumpkins and feeding Owen in time to go out for pictures. Owen was fascinated by the lighting of the pumpkin and would keep lifting the top to look in!! We got a few photos done and Grammy and Granddad arrived. Owen was so excited he ran all over the yard!!

So soon it got dark and we headed out trick or treating. We practiced "trick or treat" with Owen but when it came time to do it - Not going to happen!! Owen soon realized that he was getting stuff and refused to let anyone hold his pumpkin, even though it was getting heavy.

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Sallie came to visit this weekend, so we thought it would be a great time to go to the pumpkin patch, unfortunately, Owen didn't think so!!! We did pick out some pumpkins and gourds - but I guess there's always next year!!

ZOOOO Continued!!

ZOOOOOOOOO!!

We headed out to the zoo this weekend, we couldn't have asked for a better day!! Owen really enjoyed all the animals!! We saw birds, giraffes, zebras, flamingos, tigers, monkeys and much more. We even stopped at the petting zoo. Owen also spent a little time at the playground. I have to say we were all pooped by the time we got home, but it was worth it!!

Owen caught a glimpse of his shadow today. He also did a little cleaning!!
