Oliver's Batwings!!

Tom decided to make Oliver batwings for Halloween and they turned out great!! Even Oliver didn't seem to mind too much - as long as there was a treat involved!!

Halloween Part II

Halloween!!!

So for Owen's first Halloween we started off carving the pumpkin - this is where the spoons come into play. Owen loved the spoons so much he insisted (as much as a ten month old can) on bringing them along Trick or Treating!! So when Grammy & Granddad arrived we headed out into the neighborhood to trick or treat. Owen was a Panda Bear, and a mighty cute one at that - we even saw a Mama Panda Bear - which was pretty cool!! Tom also got into the spirit and sported a ROCKIN wig with his Spinal Tap t-shirt. We went to a few houses and then headed back home to hand out candy and watch the VOLS play!! We also got Owen a tiger costume so we had to put that on him for good measure. All and all, I think Owen had the most fun when he was free of the costumes- bearing it all (oh, except for the diaper - of course!!)

Pumpkins!!

We headed out to get a pumpkin to carve for Halloween. We picked up two small ones at the pumpkin patch but we needed a bigger one for carving. Owen was no less thrilled to be back in the presence of pumpkins as he was at the patch. But we managed to get a pretty good one if you ask me!!

Pumkin Patch!!

Owen had his first trip to the pumpkin patch today. So here's the scoop, Owen didn't have his afternoon nap until shorty before we arrived at Gentry's Farm, so to say the least, Owen was not thrilled to be there. We managed to get a smile out of him right before we left.

Ten Months!!!

Boy did September fly by, and Owen is a month older. He's now pulling up on everything and standing - traveling along the ottoman. Finally, he will pick up and eat puffs and drink out of his sippy cup!!! I can't wait to see what happens this month!!
