Christmas 2010 Part II

Around lunch time we headed over to Grammy and Granddad's for Christmas dinner!!  After dinner, we opened presents and then lounged for the rest of the day!!  Owen got another basketball goal, bath toys, clothes and so much more.  It was a wonderful Christmas!!

Christmas 2010!!!

What a wonderful Christmas we had!!  This was Owen's first Christmas where he learned about Santa, Christmas Trees & Presents!!  He still wasn't really sure about Santa coming to see him but he was excited to see all the toys and presents that he brought that morning!!  Santa brought Owen a beanbag, a tricycle, a Thomas the Train set and so much more!!!  We had our homeade cinnamon rolls and eggs in the morning while watching It's a Wonderful Life and then starting baking for Christmas dinner at Grammy and Granddad's!!

Christmas Eve 2010!!!

We had a great Christmas Eve!!  We had plans to go over to my sister's house, but before we could leave we had to make a few goodies to take with us, and Owen was more than happy to help!!  Later that afternoon, we headed over to my sister's house for dinner with friends and family.  Several family members had not seen Owen since last Christmas, and were excited to see how much he had grown.  I think Owen enjoyed Conner's ping pong table the most, he watched everyone play and when the table was empty, he would pull up a chair and play too!!

Christmas Tree!!

So we got our Christmas tree and it took us about three days to get it up and decorated.  I think Owen really enjoyed having the tree. Although, we did have a couple of broken ornaments!!  Every morning he wanted to turn the lights on!!!  Owen loves plugs and will use any opportunity to plug something in!!

Owen's 2nd Birthday!!!

We all had a great time on Owen's Birthday.  We had a low key "airplane theme" birthday party over at Grammy and Granddad's.  Owen had a blast unwrapping all the wonderful gifts that he got.  He especially loved the bubbles that Grammy got him!!  He received a guitar, a couple of potato heads, a remote control fire truck, books and so much more!!  He really enjoyed his cake featuring Elmo and Grover!!  Overall, I think Owen had a great day today!!

Hanging Out Before the Party!!

We went ahead and gave Owen one of his birthday presents - a nerf hoop, basketball, soccer ball and football.  Owen had a blast playing with his new toys.  He took a little break and rested on the awesome stool Tom made for him.

Photo Shoot 2010

So we had a little photo shoot with Owen for our 2010 Christmas card.  Sallie went with us over to Cloverbottom and even though Owen didn't want to give up his blanket, I still think we got a few good pictures.

Thanksgiving 2010!!

We had a great Thansgiving.  Owen shot a few hoops outside at Gammy and Granddad's while the food was cooking.  Later we went over to have dinner at the Frazier's with my brother in laws' family. The food was great and Owen had a great time playing basketball.  That's until he suffered his first major "BOO BOO", but he was a trooper and still wanted to play basketball even though his head was bleeding!!  That's our little boy!!

Turkey!!

We made turkeys for Thanksgiving today.  Owen was a really good helper even when he was trying to eat a turkey!!

Halloween 2010 Continued

Once we got home, Owen had a couple of pieces of candy and played with Tom's drill. We took a bath and put Owen in his orange and black PJs. We still had a few Trick or Treaters, so Owen was able to help give out candy!!

Overall, I think Owen had a great time and we can't wait for next year!!
